I just read someone's answer to a question where they told someone that they could not color their hair now that they had a tattoo. I've never heard that before. Thats not true is it?

Nobody is dumb or stupid... Allergic reactions from hair coloring and tatts can be due to the high content of para-phenylenediamine (PPD), which is a color enhancer and is used in some hair dyes and Henna tatts more so than traditional tatts.

The connection between the 2 otherwise is a fallacy short of the fact you would not want to expose your fresh tatt to the chemicals involved in hair coloring/dye products.

OK so if its a new tattoo the ink might react to the hair dye and cause redness in your skin. It explains it on the box. Its not anything to work about to majorly its just a warning/precaution.
