Need help with coloring my hair?

I have natruel dark hair, had my stylest turn it blond. Now I have black roots and light ends. I want to change my whole color again to lighter than it is now on the ends. I have 30 devleoper will this work with just a color from sally's or do I need to bleech / strip it then color it? Or will just leaving the color %26amp; devolper in longer get the lighter color. Also have a few grays. ugh. Thanks.

Go back to your stylist! I've tried to do my own hair (I also have naturally dark hair...brown). I always wind up going to the hairdresser to "fix" it after several attempts and some dry, frizzy hair!

Go to a pro that will do a good job for virtually no money. Tell them the color that you want, but ask if you can see what it will turn out like before you start.

Yes if you want lighter hair Loreal makes, Loreal Les blondiness,i used extra light ash blonde ,they make it i believe three shades in the blonde natural,biege,ash, you can choose the shade that best fits your complexion.it's the lightest that they make develop time is 45 minutes..i would wait a couple of weeks before coloring.hope i helped you good luck..oh btw i have dark hair too..

you are gonna have to strip it because color will not lift color-and most likely have to use a high volume developer on your roots since they are dark.do not leave it on longer,that will just damage your hair.i would suggest going to a salon,it would be cheaper to go now then to attempt something yourself and have to go and get corrective color.corrective color costs a lot more then just getting it done right the first time.good luck
