Should you not wash a day prior? And a day after? What should i do?

dont wash it the day before, becuase the natural oil that forms in your hair will be better for the coloring process... and as for after coloring it... they wash your hair for you anyway in order to get the color out... dont wash so often the first week.. becuase it will fade quicker.

Your hair should be clean and dry, with no products in it. It's o.k. to wash day before, provided that your hair does not get oily quick.

It's perfectly o.k. to wash the day after too. Some people think that it washes out your color faster, but that has not been my personal experience.

I would get a conditioner that is for colored hair, they really do seem to help keep the shine and vitality in your hair. Best of luck, hope this helps.
