Yes, and it was my first. I have dark blonde hair. I thought it would look nice to add some light auburn-ish highlights, so used a kit from the drugstore - well-known brand. It was on a Sunday afternoon in a small city. Well, I followed the directions perfectly, and came out with flaming orange clown hair. The highlights were to wash out in eight shampooings, so I washed my hair over and over and over, and nothing happened except it now felt like straw. My boyfriend laughed and laughed - and now he still reminds me of it now that we're married. Now by that time of the day, the drugstores were closed and there was nowhere to buy hair dye to cover the orange mess. The next morning was our city's fair parade, and I was working on a newspaper and was to work the parade. So I styled my hair nicely, tried to put on a brave face and faced the day! After work, I dyed my hair a brunette color, and had to deal with people thinking that was weird as I had to work at our church's food booth at the fair that evening. So, I couldn't hide for those few days, and learned my lesson. I have not dyed nor highlighted my hair since, and though I am at times tempted, I just remember all that I went through!

yeah i tried to color my eye lashes and dye the ends red but i grabbed the wrong color and they were olive green completely for about a month

Hi,,,,,, not me,,,,, but my ex-wife,,,burned her hair so bad with a perm,,, she had to get all of it cut off.........

Yes, just wash it and if you can wait. It will start to fade and look better. If not you can as a few highlights to distract from the bad color, or you can go to a professional and try again but you should wait inbetween colorings because it may damage your hair. You don't want it to fall out do you?? nope so wear a cap

Yea I have naturaly dark brown hair and I was trying to go light brown. Well when I dyed it it went totally black! I was so bummed. I was trying to go lighter not darker!! So then I went red and loved it lol!

Yeah. My friend tried garnier multi-lights. The kit for the blond highlights.She said she followed the directions perfectly. After she had her bath, and dried the hair, evry1 was waitin eagerly 2 c how her highlights looked. Lol. I was shocked to c tiger like hair on her head. I coulden't stop laughing for a month.

My friend Miranda had highlights, and she wanted to get rid of them, so she went to a salon. When she came back on Monday, her hair was purple! Something went wrong with the stuff that they put in her hair. It was sooooo funny. But it did look good on her.....
