First of all, this is the thing..... you never die your hair you color it... second it is important to remember that any type of color that you put on your hair is a chemical reaction. There for it is all damaging. I would suggest going to see a licensed stylist with any type of hair questions as they go to school and have licenses to educate you on that.

i suggest going to a beauty supply and picking your color there. you can use a 20 volune mixer that will only deposit color with whatever you choose. lifting the color out is what damages it. most companies also make a temp gloss that will give a very natural look and lots of gloss. i don't know if they have them where you are, but the staff at sally beauty supply is always friendly and knowladgeable.

All hair coloring products will do some damage to your hair. Most over the counter products have a higher alkaline content then professional products. I would suggest having a pro do it
