Is there a treatment that can restore a persons natural hair color after coloring for a few years?

No, color "lifts" your natural color out of your hair and deposits artificial pigment. If you remove the artificial pigment you're left with a lighter, usually redder (or orange or yellow) color than your natural. This is the color the hair was lifted to during the coloring process. The best you can do is have it colored as close to your natural as possible, then let it grow.
